Business Development Manager

Are you a competitive business development professional looking to join a leading producer of B2B events? Well, look no further!

We are seeking a motivated individual to help secure new sponsor relationships for our fast-growing portfolio of conferences and digital experiences.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your ability to exceed revenue goals in high-growth markets while building relationships with major companies and startups. You’ll work closely with our Marketing and Audience Development teams, report to the Managing Director, and enjoy wonderful career growth opportunities.

We offer a competitive base salary, uncapped commission, health benefits, and a company-matched 401K plan. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to travel to our live events in locations such as Austin, Palm Springs, Miami Beach, Napa, and more!

As our ideal candidate, you’ll utilize your business savvy and industry knowledge to research accounts, generate interest, and develop accounts for our diverse portfolio of events. You’ll be responsible for proactively contacting potential new clients via phone, email, and social media, managing the sales process from prospecting to closing, and developing effective sales proposals.

To succeed in this role, you should have a minimum of 4 years of documented success in B2B sales. You’ll also need excellent communication skills, a customer-oriented attitude, and experience using sales automation and CRM tools. (Previous sponsorship sales experience, especially with hosted buyer formats, is a plus!)

Audience Recruitment Manager

We’re on the lookout for a motivated Audience Recruitment Manager to join our team.

As the Audience Recruitment Manager, you’ll be responsible for finding and recruiting senior executives to attend our events. We want someone who can come up with creative ways to connect with our targeted audiences, and craft messaging that really resonates with them.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Identifying business leaders who would benefit from attending our events.
  • Being in charge of the entire sales process from start to finish.
  • Researching prospects online to find the best way to connect with them.
  • Making sure prospects understand the value proposition of our events.
  • Using social media to help spread the word about our events.
  • Managing and updating a database of assigned accounts.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Someone with at least 4 years of sales experience.
  • Someone who knows how to use LinkedIn, Google, and social media to find prospects.
  • Someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills that can clearly articulate our events.
  • Someone who has experience using modern CRM and sales tools.
  • Someone who can work well with others, even if they’re not in the same place.
  • Someone who can travel to our events (up to 5x a year). (2023- Napa, Palm Springs, Miami Beach, Austin, and more)

Conference / Content Producer

influence group, a leading producer of B2B events and digital content, is seeking a dynamic conference /content producer to create cutting-edge conference programs and nurture industry relationships to build strong speaker line-ups.

WHAT IS THE ROLE?

As a Conference / Content Producer, you will be responsible for researching and shaping the content for our live events, virtual roundtables and webcasts. This individual will have input into every aspect of our product development, from inception, through marketing to “day of show” delivery.

The Producer will be involved in shaping the content and format of our experiences (live and virtual), so meticulous research and creativity are central to the role. The Producer plays a large part in securing relevant speakers and building relationships with thought leaders in order to be on top of key industry trends.

Writing is also an important part of the role, being able to create content (blog articles, Q&A profiles) that will appeal to our target audiences.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be nice.
  • Must be a curious learner.
  • Ability to quickly understand a market and draw up a list of appropriate speakers.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to persuade senior execs to give up their time to attend our events as speakers.

Strategic Marketing Manager

influence group, a leading producer of B2B events and content, is seeking a dynamic data-driven marketing leader to join our team. Someone with unquenched ambition who will take ownership of acquiring customers across multiple vertical markets while strengthening our brands.

WHAT IS THE ROLE?

As a Strategic Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for running inbound and outbound programs to drive our company’s pipeline and revenue goals.

We are looking for someone that is passionate about digital marketing, events, and lead generation. Candidates need to be experienced in running the entire marketing program lifecycle—from ideation, planning and execution— through various channels such as email, content generation (webinars, live streaming), ads and social media.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to drive attendance and sponsorship of our virtual and live experiences.
  • Using data, identify ways to segment users and build communication triggers to increase engagement, drive event registrations, and increase revenue.
  • Create email nurture programs, segmented lists, and campaign assets—including emails and forms for digital campaigns.
  • Drive the end-to-end development, planning, execution, and performance measurement of marketing campaigns/programs.
  • Grow new leads, by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content.
  • Develop documentation and roadmaps for processes, A/B tests, and promotions that succeed.
  • Analyze marketing and sales data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization.
  • Maintain the integrity of our database (Hubspot CRM).
  • Manage agency and independent contractor relationships.

THE MUST-HAVES:
